In probably the biggest clubbing Tuesday since Luke Fair at Footwork, Xmas ’06 or Sasha at Revival a couple years earlier, Luke returns alongside Nic Fanculli to blaze the Toronto harbour for the first ever Canada Day ‘Beats Ahoy!’

And if that’s not enough July 1st partying for ya, we’re hosting our first ever event at Toika Lounge a couple hours after docking. Montreal’s Mahar Daniel, along with Wahi from Vision in Chicago will be making their Toronto debuts with our very own Jeff Button assuming opening AND closing duties.

We’ve also added a couple fantastic posts to the site this week. Lisa Sant (littlemissbluedress) has summed up her incredible year of clubbing in Tokyo with some intriguing insight and images documenting the very efficient, totally over the top dance scene in Japan.

In the btb Beats section we have another under the radar artist who is starting to make big waves throughout the tech-house scene. As both a DJ and producer, Jim Rivers is starting to make a very reputable name for himself and the two super quality sets we’re hosting in this post prove the point thoroughly.
